One day, a mysterious alien baby named Ultra B arrives on Earth from outer space. Michio Suzumoto, an ordinary boy, stumbles upon Ultra B and decides to take him in as his own, much to the shock of his family. To their amazement, Ultra B can walk, talk (though not fluently), and perform magic, though his powers often lead to chaos. Michio, clumsy and struggling at work like Nobita Nobi from Doraemon (a series created by Fujiko F. Fujio, a close friend of Abiko), faces even more challenges with Ultra B’s playful mischief. Despite being a baby, Ultra B's antics lead to many comedic adventures, and the series follows the unpredictable bond between Michio and his extraordinary new companion.
